Meanwhile Camden was once the final stop on the North Western railway line, with the town serving as a space to transport goods from the railways tracks to horseback. Evidence of this can still be found in some of Camden's most iconic cultural landmarks: Part of Camden Market was once a stables, housing up to 800 hard-working horses, whilst another part, Camden Lock Market, was once part of the busy canal trade-route.

Over in Islington there are so many live music venues to explore; for Rock head to the Garage or The Grace, for jazz and folk check out Jamboree, and for live concerts in a beautiful setting, check out Union Chapel near Highbury and Islington station.
