Piano giving you nightmares? Time to call a piano tuner...

This piano was in a very bad way when I first encountered it last week. Just a few hours later, its nightmare-ish sound was gone, and replaced by balanced and harmonious tones. As sad as it is to find a piano so neglected, its also incredibly rewarding to make such a huge difference. Just listen to this comparison! Rachmaninoff's Prelude in D major sounds rather like a nightmare before tuning, but afterwards, has a beautiful dreamy quality on this aged and mellow instrument.
