Piano Tuning Services in Wimbledon and Mitcham

Wimbledon and mitcham piano tuning and repairs

Mitcham was thought to be one of the earliest settlements of the Anglo-Saxons, whilst Wimbledon's rich history goes as far back as the Iron Age, when 'Caesar's Camp' hillfort, now part of Wimbledon Common, was built.

Although Wimbledon is best-known for hosting an international Tennis tournament, arts-fanatics have plenty to do in this pocket of Merton.  There is the New Wimbledon Theatre, Tunnel 267, (who host live comedy nights and DJ sets), and the beautiful Polka Theatre, probably the most important family theatre in the UK.  And towards Mitcham, you will find Colour House Blues, a music and performance venue based in an old textiles factory, and the Metronome Coffee and Wine bar, which hosts karaoke jamming nights where you can BYOI - bring your own instrument!

Ruby Tunes is based in Balham.  We tune pianos in homes across South West London, and also in performance venues, music schools, recording studios and pubs.  Areas covered include: Wimbledon, Mitcham, Balham, Clapham, Streatham, Norwood, Tooting, Battersea, Wandsworth, Crystal Palace, Earlsfield, and Summerstown.

If you are unsure if your area is covered, please get in touch, and we will do our best to come to you.

“Ruby patiently and skilfully restored our baby grand - practically a century old and entirely neglected for the last few years... granting it a late lease of life, and ditto my playing. Another technician had taken fright at the piano’s fragile state and had refused to work on it at all. I can’t recommend her highly enough."
